They really help you manage your accounts

I'm in my forties and I wasn't sure about Monzo at first. It semed a bit gimicky and all too popular with students to be of interest to me (or so I thought). Actually the app has been a great was of keeping track of my everyday spending. It's not perfect, perhaps more of a 4.5 than a 5 star app (there is room for more control of how you view and expoert the data, assign expenditure, etc) but it was also really easy to setup, so I think they deserve a five star review and I look forward to seeing how the app/service improves over time. I've been with Monzo for nearly a decade and...

I've been with Monzo for nearly a decade I can safely say it's been a solid choice all this time. Switching over way back when was a piece of cake, and honestly, their app has just got better and better over the years. It's still the easiest way to keep tabs on my spending, those instant notifications are still a lifesaver, and seeing where my money's actually going is always clear as day. What's kept me around is how it just works. Setting budgets is still a doddle, and those little reminders are just as helpful now as they were at the start. And knowing I can freeze my card in a flash if I misplace it still gives me that bit of security. Even after all this time, dealing with Monzo has been straightforward. Their customer service has always been on the ball whenever I've needed them. For everyday banking that's consistently reliable and makes managing your money a proper breeze, Monzo's been the ticket for me for nearly ten years now, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Great spend tracking and interest rates

Absolutely love Monzo, it's a game-changer!

Love pretty much everything about Monzo, having used them since 2018. Amazing app, beautiful UI and makes everything super easy. Love the fee-free international card payments (initially why I joined). Support is an absolute game-changer (no phone calls & helpful in-app chat with a way nicer UX). Also love other handy features like pots, notifications, bill splitting, early salary payments and sending money to other Monzo users (without bank details). Also being able to view all older transactions and more flexibility with generating statements. Funny seeing the legacy banks suddenly play catch-up now while Monzo rapidly gains customers. However, I only use the free plan since I personally struggle to see the value in the paid plans. Another thing is that I still have to use my legacy bank for cheques - if Monzo supported that it's another reason not to have to use a legacy bank. Reviewed on: 15th April 2025
