Review of the Monzo, Current Account:

They really help you manage your accounts

I'm in my forties and I wasn't sure about Monzo at first. It semed a bit gimicky and all too popular with students to be of interest to me (or so I thought). Actually the app has been a great was of keeping track of my everyday spending. It's not perfect, perhaps more of a 4.5 than a 5 star app (there is room for more control of how you view and expoert the data, assign expenditure, etc) but it was also really easy to setup, so I think they deserve a five star review and I look forward to seeing how the app/service improves over time. They function but are probably not the best

I've banked with Barclays Business banking for 21 years, they are fine but nothing to write home about. There isn't any business banking team left at my branch and their online offerings fall behind some of the younger banks, so I probably wouldn't have chosen them now, but then the service in branch and onlinehas never been that bad either (a few glitches with the app after an update but they do sort it out). So yeah, fairly average with room for improvement. Reviewed on: 22nd November 2021

Giving up on them after 32 years

They have always been a bit backward, but their systems are just rubbish and only seem to be getting worse. Their staff while friendly enough are resigned to a "computer says no" attitude. Reviewed on: 22nd November 2021
