Been a customer for 17 years, mortgage etc. Gone down hill since managers disappeared from branches, now you deal with a group over the phone who deal with various clients and have to be reminded of who you are. Lending team don’t seem to know what they are doing, every time any form of finance needs to be applied for, multiple proofs required and provided followed by requests for more proofs of the same. I applied for a loan 10 days ago and they are still asking for the same. The very fact I have one of these accounts alone states that I have the required income but no, not with NatWest. Long story short, HSBC Premier better in every way, thankfully I transferred my pension elsewhere due to the issues NatWest presented me with at that time. AVOID Reviewed on: 22nd September 2025

Poor and unexperienced Team member

I am submitting this review due to the poor and unhelpful service I received from a team member named Priyank Rawat. His explanation regarding charges on my credit card was unclear and did not resolve my concerns. I had to contact the credit card team myself and wait a long time to receive accurate information—something that should have been clearly communicated in the first place. Bad Customer Service..

It is almost impossible to get through to a person on the phone. After waiting for over an hour I was offered call back which I accepted but which never happened. Really needed to speak to someone but I never managed to. Reviewed on: 15th April 2025

Natwest A Taste of Excellence

I have banked with Natwest in excess of 40 years. their professionalism is second to none in the banking world. I have my main bank account with them, my mortgage, and savings products and I couldn’t be happier. Banking is easy on the Natwest App. I’m able to access all my account and manage them in one place. I can even add accounts that I have with other banks. It’s fantastic. Natwest products are very competitive and their customer service is brilliant. Reviewed on: 2nd April 2025

Ditching Natwest

I've been a Natwest customer for 14 years and in the last month I've started to have problems getting access to lounges with my Dragonpass. Will be changing my bank account. Customer services are absolutely useless. Reviewed on: 21st October 2024

everything takes as long as possible

everything takes as long as possible, if they say it can take up to 10 business days its going to take 11. this is when they don't mess something up and make you redo everything in which case they will still take as long as possible to tell you this. my account was frozen due to fraud and it was quicker for me to open another bank account than for NatWest to fix the issue.
