Weeks of waiting for my car to be repaired

My car still hasn't been collected to be repaired nearly 4 weeks after it was vandalised. I have no transport and I'm left stuck with 2 young children even after adding hire car purchase and courtesy car to my insurance I have been left over a week without a car and I'm not happy with the customer service at all! Can only speak on chat and no phone calls anymore it's beyond ridiculous I will be moving car insurance as soon as I can. Reviewed on: 3rd November 2022

Avoid like the plaque

Took £350 of me and then cancelled my insurance with out so much as a whisper then when I find out that they have not put me in the data base due to a speeding offence over three years ago let me drive around for three days knowing full well they had taken all my money but was going ti cancel my insurance so then after three days of actually trying to get hold of an actual human asked me if I wanted to cancel my insurance that they themselves were refusing to give me and now waiting for my refund but they are keeping £100 for cancellation fee and imaginary three days of car insurance they never actually gave me.so after going on trust pilot and reading the hundreds of bad reviews it seems that this is their thing just diabolical at a time when the country has its arse against the wall and all freezing and starving to death. Difficult to contact, regularly cut off when chatting, accused me of having a car accident and would not except email proof or speak with the AA insurance to confirm this. Needed a pdf or letter but wouldn't give me time to get this. Reviewed on: 31st October 2022

Highly recommend proffessional car insurance

Excellent customer service provided when dealing with a break down I experienced. Very quick response to my call on a late Saturday afternoon. Car & passengers taken to collect hire vehicle allowing me to continue my journey. My car was returned next day to garage of my choice & hire car collected. Good so far!

I have a had good experience with One call motor insurance so far, friendly and helpful on the phone and easy to deal with. I was very happy when the premium actually went down on renewal as I normally get a quote from Quotezone each year and move company as other insurance companies normally bump it up each year despite no claims. So this has meant I have stuck with One call as they keep the premium down rather that the constant increases seen by others, I haven't had a claim yet fortunately so can't comment on that side. Not for the over 60s

In all the years of driving (over 35 years) this is my 1st claim with an insurance company. What a horrible experience! All contact is online. No human contact with sympathy at what can be a very stressful time. And to top it all off it has taken over 6months to get my car repaired as the 1st time it was sprayed the job was so bad my car has to be taken back to the incompetent repair shop that originated the bad repair job Reviewed on: 24th October 2022
