Worse bank i ever dealt with. Stay away

Absolute worse bank i have dealt with. Within a week of opening the business account they have suddenly without warning closed the account and put a 60 days hold on the account. They refused to tell me why, but after pushing they hinted that it is likely due to fact one of my transfers involved crypto. I explained that they had not informed me this was not permitted or I would never have done so. However they were not interested and would not even put me through to complaints. S... Going to move my isa s with Virgin held on for 45 minutes on three occasions they never answer your call they should be ashamed of them selves excuse large number of calls then just hire more people flashy adds but no service surprised they have any customer they won’t have me I am moving my accounts Reviewed on: 10th June 2022

STAY AWAY!LONG DELAYS

I wish we had read the reviews before making our application, however we trusted a mortgage broker but are currently regretting that decision hugely! our offer was accepted in February, we are not in a chain and now in June still waiting on a mortgage decision. We have made numerous attempts to call virgin ourselves but the call wait times are 60 minutes plus!!! online chat service is quick, however they cannot deal with anything thats in the processing stage so absolutely point... Do not get a mortgage from virgin money!

I am in the process of getting a mortgage from virgin and i throughly regret choosing this company. Very unprofessional and i have been waiting for 6 weeks for my mortgage to go through with no end in sight. The application was submitted and reviewed on the 22nd of November and it is 4th jan. In addition, the application was sat at the desk for 2 weeks and nothing was done, and i was asked for a letter of urgency to try and push this through, which i have done 4 times. I have to... Delay after delay after delay

Daughters first mortgage, she made this clear from start. Tried to support her myself as much as possible while watching her experience the real world & learn from it. Virgin Money in my opinion (she wont disagree) were diabolical with their general handling throughout process. I appreciate pandemic etc but over 2 months to handle straight forward transactions etc is utterly abysmal. Communication wasn't much better than general performance. Mortgage Team Don't Care About Customers

It took 58 minutes if waiting for me to speak with the mortgage team. Yesterday I tried their call back service. I received a text at 10:45am confirming someone will call me in about 60 minutes. I received a call at 12:00 I quickly clicked answer and put the phone against my ear, and said Hello, and the phone call was ended. Terrible customer experience. Massively under valued house leading to high LTV

We went through the mortgage applicatipn with virgin was quite please with a great deal on offer LTV and interest rate good we already live in our house and were looking to swap provider to get a better deal. However when it came down to the valuation apparently they do it all electronically and was told computer says price and its got to be right theres nothing we can do....now the value compared to our current mortage company was over 40000 difference and I have no idea how th...
