Deplorable company

Daughter given genuinely xlnt price whilst on provisional licence... £360. Passed test 4 months into policy... Difference to pay on passing (22 years old) £1000....got Policy with Admiral, legal cover etc £700...wording of cancellation does NOT inform of pro rata & payments still due, wording of cancellation email & letter states "due to non payment policy cancelled (!?!) blind panic ensues thinking my credit score will be affected... Trying to get response from customer "service's" is attrocious... I would therefore recommend you AVOID this company for any kind of insurance... Troubles me companies are allowed to get away with such shoddy customer service. Reviewed on: 16th June 2023

Review of the Virgin Money, Mortgages:

Delay after delay after delay

Daughters first mortgage, she made this clear from start. Tried to support her myself as much as possible while watching her experience the real world & learn from it. Virgin Money in my opinion (she wont disagree) were diabolical with their general handling throughout process. I appreciate pandemic etc but over 2 months to handle straight forward transactions etc is utterly abysmal. Communication wasn't much better than general performance. Appointment clearly advised as 17th when phoned to see why had not been phoned ended up going ahead a week later. When finally think we're getting there, they advise Home Report is out of date?! Home report was advised to them start of process, takes weeks with no update for them to advise 6 weeks into process sorry valuation is over 3 months old needs redone...gets redone astonishingly quickly & emailed through....not acknowledged & having to chase, TWO WEEKS later still awaiting final decision....diabolical.
