I applied got 1.2K credit. After using 200, they blocked the card without any reason and never told me before the blocking. Discovered in the supermarket when payment declined. Call the customer service but no solution. Reviewed on: 21st February 2025

Disappointing with Asda Credit Card Process

What a joke! I applied for an Asda credit card and received an email stating my application had been approved, asking me to log in and set up a direct debit. I tried several times, but it kept telling me I already had an account. After two months with no credit card, I contacted Asda to ask for an update. I was told I hadn’t set up the direct debit, and they gave me an email address to resolve the issue. It’s been five days, and they still haven’t read my email. So Asda Money, thank you but NO thanks. Using this card can impact your credit rating

Not realising just how low a credit limit I had, my credit report was stained by using 37% of the 3.5k credit limit on a 1.25k balance This card is used by my wife and I through the month and all cc balances are paid off monthly.. This card has screwed my credit rating and will lye dormant from now on. Reviewed on: 3rd June 2024

Awful and Disgusting Stay Away

Awful credit card the provider Jaja Finance are always blocking cards. They did this to me after I used the card twice. I complained to the Financial Ombudsman and they stated that they were entitled to do this which I found extraordinary. I've never had this poor treatment from any other credit card provider. Card Blocked. Customer Service Not Available

I've had my ASDA Money Credit Card for a few weeks and used it about 8 times without any problems. Last Friday the card was "DECLINED" when I attempted to pay in an ASDA store. Ive have attempted to phone ASDA Customer Services (0808 175 4600) several times. You are automatically taken through security (choose from a menu, enter card number, date of birth, 3-digit security number). Then you are told that you are being transferred to a Customer Services' Person, and the phone gets cut off. It happens every time. I then resorted to the CHAT line using the ASDA mobile app. I was told not to leave the page and an advisor would be chatting with me soon. 28 minutes later an advisor did look into my problem. My account was being reviewed by a specialist team. The advisor suggested that I wait 48 hours and then try using the card again. If not successful then get back in contact and we can escalate to our specialist team. This is not the way to run a Credit Card service, and the Customer Service is atrocious.
