A wise choice

One of the few credit cards to give cash back and also on a monthly basis. The online facility is good also showing pending transactions in a slightly different colour that is very helpful. Reviewed on: 28th December 2016

Great cashback

It's really good, with a 1% cash back on all purchases and petrol in store and a 0.5% elsewhere, I also have set up a direct debit which goes out every month, which pays out what is owed in full, so you don't get charged. Reviewed on: 29th November 2016

Very poor so far!

Took out an Asda mastercard 3 months ago...very poor experience so far! Tried to pay online via their online website.....found that I had to fill out exhaustive details of the debit card I was paying with. OK for the first payment I thought, but not so. You have to do the same every time as their system is incapable of retaining card details. How unprofessional! Second month I tried to pay by bank transfer but the payment was immediately refunded. Apparently the sort code/account numbers lodged with First Direct are incorrect. Asda money claimed this is because First Direct has not amended its details, but I suspect that Asda has failed to notify. As I said, not good so far.....any more problems and I'll switch to a competent provider. Reviewed on: 31st October 2016

No one to answer your call

It is just ridiculous to have a contact number that is always engaged. I cannot ever get through to Asda credit card, and I have a rather urgent question. I do not recommend this card, when you need them they are not there to help. Disgraceful! Reviewed on: 25th October 2016

What a rip off!

Asda Pre paid Credit Card - Awful avoid. I put in £120 and could only get £40 out! Nobody wants to take responsibility. And I paid a £5 fee for the privilege. Reviewed on: 3rd August 2016

suspended card

Asda suspended my card, last Friday, as concerned about a purchase made with it. Website said I could call on Saturdays but when tried to ring on Saturday morning, message says only available Monday - Friday 9-5.. So in limbo all weekend and further transactions put through before/on Friday card has been declined (such as paying for daughter's birthday meal). Understand importance of avoiding fraud/protecting customers BUT give me someone to talk to when I need to!!!!!!! Reviewed on: 22nd May 2016

1% cashback

Asda money card used to be good in cashback, when it started it was 2% cashback when using credit card to pay but sadly they have cut it down to 1% still though better than nothing when comparing with other credit cards like Santander or Amex where you have to pay X amount of £££ to get the benefits which to me defeats the object of the word "cashback" Reviewed on: 28th March 2016
