They rip you off on rewards I think it depends how they feel sometimes they give you rewards on purchases sometimes they don't for example I spent £10 forgive me so many pence reward I'll spend 100 pounds and they give me exactly the same amount of money so scam I've raised this countless times of them and they were saying no it's correct. Terrible company avoid

My Asda money credit card has been blocked and can not make transactions on my account,can not login to the app it’s blocked I have called a few times this week just to be told nobody can discuss the account because it’s under review,very frustrating and I have done nothing wrong,I am not the only person this has happened to,There has been at least 12 reviews on here from people saying the same regarding Account reviews and Blocks,I keep been told somebody from the specialist team will contact me and had nothing,just been left in the Dark….This is a terrible way to treat customers.your customer service is non existent,I will take this to the FCA AND FOS Reviewed on: 19th March 2025

I applied got 1.

I applied got 1.2K credit. After using 200, they blocked the card without any reason and never told me before the blocking. Discovered in the supermarket when payment declined. Call the customer service but no solution. Reviewed on: 21st February 2025

AVOID - they randomly block cards with no warning

Recently at a family meal I used my ASDA credit card to pay. It declined ?? Luckily I had another card on my. 2 days later, in ASDA store my card was again declined. I contacted ASDA Card and was advised my account was being reviewed but they would not say why. I had sufficient funds, I always pay my card balance before the due date. Apparently I should have received a message to say my card was being blocked. I didn't reeive any such message. When I have asked how long it will be before my card will work again the best they can say is it will take up to 30 days. Since then I have had 2 important very subscriptions also decline. It's embarrassing and the answers I am getting leave a lot to be desired. Poor customer service. I've been happy with my card for the past 5 years. I won't be using it again and will cancel it once I see what this review was all about, if I ever get to the bottom of it. Reviewed on: 19th February 2025

I took out this credit card last year and had 2,800...

I took out this credit card last year and had 2,800 credit limit. That suited me as I have a decent credit rating. I pay a great sum off every month,but still they harass you to pay more! No ability to get on app. Just doesn’t load. The login process sometimes shuts down and having read my terms of credit agreement I believe they are charging me too much interest. So I’m off to ombudsman. Never missed a payment and always pay early. This behaviour is losing you customers! Reviewed on: 20th December 2024

Top marks from me!

I’ve had my Asda Money card for well over a year and I’m delighted with it. I use it as my every day card and, aside from finding their processing of transactions to the account a bit slow (although it has improved this year), I’d consider it one of the least problematic cards I’ve ever had, and I’ve had them all! It would be nice to be able to apply for a credit limit increase, rather than having to wait for an auto one, but the pros of this card far outweigh the minor cons. Not everyone’s experience is bad! I have now contacted both the Financial Conduct Auth...

I have now contacted both the Financial Conduct Authority and Financial Ombudsman as I have been overcharged interest (nearly double what it should be). When speaking to customer service apparently they can't give me any details as they are not Financial advisors. I would advise anyone having issues with this company to contact the FCA as I have done. Reviewed on: 5th December 2024
