Cashback now hardly exists!

When I signed up for the Asda Money Card some years ago, the cashback was great... but within the last year or so, the rate has been reduced to 0.05%. I spend over £160 a week on average at Asda and over 52 weeks... that gets me roughly £90 cashback for Christmas! Nevertheless, it's still free money so I won't complain too much. I'd just like a few more perks with the card. Reviewed on: 24th April 2019

Difficulty because house has 2 names

I was refused a credit card initially. On checking my credit report, I found I had applied in our actual address as 'cottage', they had the address as 'bungalow' so had rejected credit. All was sorted and we are now very pleased with this cashback credit card which we often use. Reviewed on: 19th April 2019

I have issues with contactless cards...my two banks happily changed mine to non contactless....BUT Creation(for ASDA) tell me they ONLY issue contactless !,....?? Reviewed on: 12th January 2019

Avoid - very poor service

So difficult to communicate with anyone in the company if you have an issue. They have no people who work for the company who you can contact. It is only via emails and messages and you never get to resolve your issue. Reviewed on: 24th December 2018

Credit limit dropped to £200 - no warning!

One minute my credit limit was £5000, then it was dropped to £200 withouit warning. Because I was not using the card enough. I have an excellent credit rating, so very disappointed they would not budge on this. £200 is useless frankly! It is the lack of warning I object to most ! Reviewed on: 11th December 2018

We knew it was too good to be true.

For a monthly £3 charge it gives 2% cashback at Asda and 0.2% elsewhere. when it first started a few years ago it was 2% at Asda and 1% elsewhere, which we knew couldn't last - and it didn't.However it is still up there with the best of the cashback cards, especially for those who shop and buy petrol at Asda, which is cheap anyway.
