STAY AWAY FROM AXA AS THEY ARE THE WORSE

1
Filed a straight forward claim and provided them with all the details on 3rd of July 2023. Provided them with all the paper work, invoices and everything they asked for but after 4 weeks of filing the claim, I was told i filled the wrong form online (which was filled initially on their advisors instruction) and the claim is refused and I have to fill it again. The advisor on the phone refiled it and gave me a new case number. I filed a complaint for the first claim filed and was told that they have re opened it and asked me for the same documents I already provided them. Went through everything again. Complaints team offered me £25 compensation for the inconvenience to close the complaint which i refused. Few days later, I was offered £50 but the claim or the complaint wasnt resolved so i refused. On 7th of september I received a call followed by an email confirming the acknowledgement of the complaint and informing me that they have upheld my complaint. I was offered £75 and a promise that it will be resolved within 5 working day but even today, on 21st of September, its still not resolved and none of the advisors can help either. Hang your heads in shame

1
Well surprise surprise I’ve received an email stating blurry documents!!! I knew I’d get it as it’s all over the internet and reviews that’s what happens with AXA Travel Insurance. I’ve also had the 5 to 10 days statement too. Again another complaint on your reviews. I’ve spoken to a lady this morning who has raised a complaint which can take up to 8 weeks. Guess what this is on your reviews too!!! You will see from the complaint raised. I’m going to my local press with this ridiculous run around given to me by AXA following my recovery from a heart attack. When this email is finally read. Perhaps somebody will take responsibility and ring me immediately. Also look out for my comments on Twitter, Facebook and any other site available to me about the way I’ve been treated and your excuses. The exact excuses given to other claimants. I’ll be sure to send the press article to you and twitter etc for everyone to read. Please be assured I will not let this drop. I’ve also complained to Jet2 who sub contracted my hard earned money to these cowboys because I am the customer of Jet2! Scam artists or incompetents?

1
AXA is either totally incompetent or they are scammers. Initially, they were quick to confirm that the event would be covered. However, upon receiving medical documentation, they started making excuses. After confronting them about it and translating some of the documents (since they apparently cannot read) they stopped replying altogether. It's been 2 weeks since the last email from them and they still haven't given any clear reply regarding why they are trying to reject the claim. Avoid them at all costs unless you want to spend a month on calls and writing emails without any response. In unlikely case they want to contact me: event # is 7123585018. Reviewed on: 24th May 2023

Unethical company. Total scammers

1
I wish I had read these reviews previously. Do not go near this company. 100% scammers. Everything written by others has been my experience too. I made a legitimate claim for an overseas medical emergency and they have made the process as painful and difficult as possible. They don’t answer emails, phone lines are near impossible to get through on and they have missed every deadline or broken every promise along the way. I’m 4 months into the claim and still without the £2k I’m owed, now with legal action being threatened by the overseas hospital. I am going to make a claim to the financial ombudsmen and i suggest others here do the same. In fact, if we all approached together this would be a much more powerful statement and testament to the company's unethical activity. I have also requested my case file and phone recordings to start building the case and showing the evidence that they've misled and acted (most likely on purpose) in a way that has made the process impossible to move forward. Not worth it

1
Taken almost 4 months to get anywhere with a claim of stolen items when on holiday and trying to only give me 50% of what the items are worth. Endless chasing of emails, back and forth, phone calls. Such a hassle to get anywhere and are rude on the phone. Haven't come back to any of my complaints either. Reviewed on: 7th January 2023

18 weeks later, still waiting!!!!

EIGHTEEN WEEKS LATER I am still waiting for a response to a claim for cancellation of our holiday (due to getting covid the day before). Appalling customer service and lack of communication. Ended up having to deal with AXA through buying travel insurance with Coverwise. Reviewed on: 20th October 2022
