had to make a claim , so many things went wrong when trying to upload a dashcam video to their site ( their website sucks to use) got sent to a physio for my neck who barely spoke english & did close to nothing , very poor info re what happens to my no claims bonus, very unipressed with how they operate Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Poor customer service

I don’t have any issues with the onboarding services, just the aftercare when someone else crashes into you. Esure have agreed it not my fault and I am currently trying to get my no claims back. The customer service has been rubbish, long wait time and only available Monday to Friday from 9 to 5. I have been on hold for 2 hours and as soon it got to 5 they put the phone down on me. Esure saved the day ..........

I have been with Esure for some years now. Not only do they offer fair car insurance but they surpassed my expectations when I had a car accident. Not only did they replace my car with a newer model but they also paid out on physical damages which was more than I could have dreamt of. Simple, helpful, easy to deal with so far

New premium twice as much

No customer service

Recorded a fualt claim even though third party admitted liability and an email from esure but they can't answer why this has happened . Call center in South Africa which never answer the phone Reviewed on: 20th July 2023

Beyond belief poor service

Terrible company, took my money for 17 years ( no claims), then cancelled my policy with no explanation. South African call center that keeps hanging on for 20 mins , then hang up. They don't reply to emails , basically left me with no insurance , no refunds, no correspondence, no customer service, just a appalling company. They need to be investigated, going to the financial ombudsman next to try to get some sense of it all . What a way to treat people , beyond belief they can trade like this ! Customer service a joke

I agree with most of these reviews you are sitting on hold for over 45 minutes & then all of sudden cut off & have to ring again. Never answer any emails, there chat bot is robot & just tells you to go online doesn't recognize claim ref, names wanting to speak to someone. Even though received an email advising someone making claim against me phoned up to find what, when & who didn't know anything & tried to register claim from me/my side. After 30mins hung up. 2nd time got through to claims nice lady found wrote notes found claim & after 20mins said need to speak to 3rd party tried to transfer & after 1 minute hung up. They advised a mechanic needs to see damage to car & costs for repairs for non existent accident. But when eventually got through to only work Monday - Friday no weekends, 10am - 4pm & don't tell you when coming till day as busy & can't book in what kind of business is that. Don't expect you to work & if like me for NHS can't just leave drop hat & pull car out on street in city center. No one has called or responded to me. Useless. Reviewed on: 15th July 2023

Uncontainable esure

I was involved in an accident February 2022 Here I am 17 months later and still not resolved Was asked 11 months ago if willing to go to court to claim 3rd party I said yes Heard nothing since Don’t respond to emails There live online chat is a robot no use And customer service don’t answer calls was on hold waiting to speak to them for 1.45 minutes no response Avoid like the plague Reviewed on: 10th July 2023

Rip off car insurance

This company auto renewed my car insurance after I had cancelled but I didn’t realise until a year later, tried to get my money back and was told I could only have half, you can’t get through to customer service because they have that many complaining customers trying to get through , please avoid like the plague, totally incompetent people, please avoid. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS COMPANY

Despite making a complaint 14 days ago, and spending FOUR AND A HALF HOURS on the phone, calling daily to try and sort a claim that a member of staff should not have been put down as a claim, I am STILL WAITING for a manager to call me. I cant tell you how many times I have been told over the past two weeks that "we will call you straight back" or "we will call by 3pm". My next step is calling the Financial Ombudsman if they have not resolved this by 3pm today. Reviewed on: 5th July 2023
