Almost 3 hours waiting on the phone and they hung up

Been trying to reach them since forever. This company should be closed down, it is inhumane how they treat people. They've got plenty of excuses but no solutions. Reviewed on: 27th September 2023

Avoid at all costs

I have my car insurance with Esure. I contacted them when an Argos delivery van hit my parked car. I had to pay the £500 excess to get my car back after it had been repaired. I sold the car but I’m still paying monthly premiums as they won’t let me cancel as there is a claim. They are doing absolutely nothing to get it sorted. I have been waiting 5 months and I am out of pocket by hundreds of pounds. They are absolutely rubbish!! Reviewed on: 26th September 2023

great if you love to hold on the phone for 1 hour to then be cut off!

I wanted to make a small admendment to my policy. Esure clearly do not have enough customer service operatives working so was holding for just under 1 hour. It sounded like somebody had answered (as the wait music stopped) however nobody was speaking on the other end. Hopefully this doesn't leave me in a precarious position as how can your insurance be voided if you were unable to make the necessary changes due to eSure negligence? AVOID AT ALL COSTS

They renewed without any notification or renewal quote. Charged a higher amount and then set up a finance agreement in my name without my knowledge! They then charged me £51 to cancel a policy I had no knowledge of! Complaints department were supposed to get back to me within 3 days! No response! I’m now referring it to the FCA and the financial ombudsman! Reviewed on: 18th September 2023

It's just worth experience I can have. Ensure put claim on .y name without informing me about this and after they confirmed that it was no claims. Now they refuse to remove . Told a cheque was being sent to my finance company twice now. Waste of time being past to different people in Africa. The claim was badly managed from the start and just keeps dragging on. Reviewed on: 12th September 2023

You need to avoid this company. No backup whatsoever. Had a slight tap in my car. No damage caused but recorded as a self fault which will impact on future insurance. Absolute garbage. Never use again. Reviewed on: 8th September 2023

Terrible customer service

They don’t answer phone calls or respond to emails. Wasted hours of my life. Been on hold now today for 45 minutes. That’s 3 hours of my life so far I won’t get back. Don’t bother with them! Reviewed on: 8th September 2023
