Rip off car insurance

This company auto renewed my car insurance after I had cancelled but I didn’t realise until a year later, tried to get my money back and was told I could only have half, you can’t get through to customer service because they have that many complaining customers trying to get through , please avoid like the plague, totally incompetent people, please avoid.
