Terrible customer service!

Beware of terrible customer services Beware! Shocking customer service. Been on the phone for 1hour 40 mins passed between 3 members of staff! Cant take my payment tried 3 times and left on hold for way too long. When passed to customer services told they are sorting out their problem told to hold for a couple of minutes then left waiting for a further 30 mins when the next advisor picks up the call knows nothing about my case. The worst customer services I have experienced. Typical of the Royal bank of Scotland. Same terrible service as Natwest bank, no surprises they are the same company. If I could, I'd give -5 stars. One time i asked for an extension to my 0% interest and they close one of my accounts and lowered my credit limit SIGNIFICANTLY on another. Im told they sent a letter I didn't get the letter, and I still haven't been told why? I asked for a 30 day interest free extension as I was struggling to pay it all back on the date my 0% balance transfer expired. I needed 2 weeks actually, but the man I spoke to, for god knows how long, and after MANY times of explaining my situation, he finally understood. He assured me that my account wouldn't close or change. Then I see one of my credit cards have closed and another one lowered. I've never been late with any payments. I've always paid on time. I've had these accounts for a while. One time I asked for an extension, and my loyalties are paid with closed account and one account limit lowered!!!! My loyalty clearly meant nothing and being a customer for so long. Terrible service and an even worse way of retaining customers. Also, hire people who understand you when you speak! slovenly, lazy service

MBNA’s website and app are atrocious, and their customer service isn’t any better. The app doesn’t use any form of input validation. The designers are lazy and in no way customer-focused. Reviewed on: 6th April 2023

Good rate and easy use

Competitive rate with credit card, low interest thereafter interest free period. Could have been notified as to when that period was up as I had to look myself after being charged interest. Balance amount increased with no hassle and all on the app. Reviewed on: 5th April 2023

NEVER RECCOMENDED THIS BANK

I closed my account because of very high interest rates,after 1 year i called them to send it to me my old statements (because of yearly tax) they said we r not send email just regular mail and we charge 2$ every each statement!! Omg. Reviewed on: 17th March 2023

Scamster Scumbags

They double charged me for 5000$. They have taken money from my bank and have still reported for late payment. Their phone number has changed and they havent even updated their website. Name one serious bank who would do that. I had to call 8010 to get their actual number. They have no physical presence. The agents that talk to you on phone are scumbags who would be serving prison sentence if unprofessionalism were a claim. You have all red flags of a filthy business with mal-intentions. Closed my account after I payed my balance in full

This card company decided to close my account without any warning and sited my credit report as the reason. I have a score over 750... they only want customers who pay minimum payments. Reviewed on: 6th March 2023
