I had paid my Credit card of post office in full and had no charges afterwards left or any remaining amounts.

I moved houses and i had forgotten that i had post office card, two weeks ago I received messages from Debt Manager Services saying i need to ring them due to a outstanding amount.

Post office money charged me £331.72 for £20-£30 AA cover that was renewed automatically which i wasnt aware of. Explained to both debt manager and post office money, no one cared in post office, the debt manager service were helpful people and did not in any way or form try to hide anything.

Never ever ever i will use this piece of sh*t credit card company in my life. Bunch of morons operating this, not one call from these scums about the this case, only debt managers phoned.

Post Office credit card department issued a second card with a new pin number, changed my home address and all this without my knowledge. When I tried to get access into my account I was blocked and when I called to find out what was the problem, they have asked me one million securities questions. When I asked them for an explanation on how the fraudster managed to pass all the sensitive security questions no one could give me an answer. For three weeks I was awaiting a letter or something, they promised to issue a new card on three different occasions (still waiting). They are the worst of the worst … my personal recommendation is to avoid them …. I have closed my account since then.

Extremely poor on many levels from a name I trusted

I would give zero if I could, be careful you are set to auto-renew and you can't take it off online, if you do it over the phone it may not be done. I believe strongly I had asked this to be done over the phone, they say not, I couldn't remove it so...

I would give zero if I could, be careful you are set to auto-renew and you can't take it off online, if you do it over the phone it may not be done. I believe strongly I had asked this to be done over the phone, they say not, I couldn't remove it so they took the money, my bank did a reversal so I could pay a new insurer, they finally sent a refund, the first within one day I had received threatening letters about it being passed over to the debt collecting agency, I paid them back and sorted in one day later, they have now done a reversal with my bank taking the money again. Spoken to them today and they have no record of having my money, the bank won't put my money back in. No one is in a rush to sort this and refund me my money. I have taken it to the financial ombudsman who are supporting me.

I have two credit cards with Post Office. I had a query so called the customer service team. A guy called Andrew dealt with one query and when I asked him to look at the second credit card he said I have to call again as he can only deal with one query at one time. Joke!
I’m going to use that trick at work tomorrow and see what my boss has to say about this.

What can I say, absolutely terrible service. The telephone handler just don't care. Not will to help in anyway. Been with post office for over 5 years. Alway paid on time and have been a great customer. Unfortunately not the same on there half. No flexibility at all, just keep to the script. Please do not use post office card if you want standard or below standard customer service, because they only do useless customer service. If you can live with that then give them a try.

Their online bond only gives you access online, no telephone or counter service possible.
Go online and it tells you nothing at all about your account except that you have a certain amount of money in there. No service possibilities, no history, no way to contact them no information on interest paid or when, or how. Nothing. Nothing about how to close the account either
All you can do is log on and see that you deposited some money with them.
11 months and 25 days in I have still not received any interest payments (should be monthly) and I do not know if I can get my money out when my bond matures (6 days from now).
No email contact. No phone contact. TERRIBLE service. DO NOT USE.

I've had a PO credit card for some years and it has never been over limit. But for a while now - my balance has been INCREASING despite making the regular (albeit minimum payment) monthly payments. So not one single penny of my monthly payments now are going towards reducing the balance. Yes - had letters to ask me to increase my monthly payments - but no warnings to say that interest will be increased if I don't. So today - I paid the card off and issued a complaint. My advice - DON'T EVER use this card. It is a total rip-off - and if you read this Post Office - you ought to be ashamed of your squeeze on ordinary folk to force them to pay more than the minimum payment every month. How can you justify increasing the balance owed every month when I am making regular monthly payments ?? This 'unsustainable borrowing' that you refer to - is utter nonsense. I haven't used the credit card for almost a year so I have spent NOTHING on it. But I will never again touch a Post Office credit card and neither will any of my family or friends. Account closed and lesson learned.

We had a policy on our house for a year but were told hey would not offer a review. They asked if anything had changed over the year and we said no and wanted to continue the cover but they declined but gave no reason. Very poor service, not to be trusted. I'm not convinced that the year we were covered was actually a good cover? We never claimed but I will stay clear of this company in future.

Once you get pass the stage of getting the credit card, then comes their customer service. Which is the worst I have ever , I have my card declined 4 times within the first 10 transactions, for security reasons. Then Even when you try to contact them, you will be transferred just the right number of times to get you annoyed, plus they will ask for your card number everytime, and they will transfer without even confirming with you.

try an avoid as much as you can.

I signed up for the online saver account, and linked it to my current account. I chose to transfer an initial amount on opening, but nothing appeared. The following day, still nothing, so I tried again, ... Nothing. I phoned the support, for through the maze of options to be told the obscure way to check online when my money would appear in my savings account.
My savings account showed that it would take two weeks before the money from my linked account would appear in my savings account. That's an unacceptable time for an online transfer, so closed my new account and looked elsewhere for account linked by something faster than a sloth!

I Applied for post office credit card. the eligibility checker said i was most likely to be accepted so made hard application, and the answer was vague. Ddnt get turned down but was asked to provide copy of photo i.d and a bill, so i sent that to them, and a couple of weeks later was then turned down? Even though according to experian and equifax I had a 90 per cent chance of getting the card and my credit rating is above average. But If they are going to turn you down, why not right away rather than all this send passport copy and a bill , which are important documents. AND it has brought my credit rating down, by applying for it as well. So i will not forget that. And in future rich or poor i will not touch the post office finances with a barge poll, and urge people to avoid them
