I applied for a chargeback from my holiday provider and it was paid onto my post office credit card. When i started the process I confirmed with them that they would pay the money immediately into my current account once received. What a load of c**p. I asked for it to be refunded over 2 weeks ago and despite empty promises still not received it. I was told within 5 working days initially and after speaking with a manager (after 4 long calls (on hold for over an hour each time)) she offered me £25 compensation and said it would be done. 4 days later still no money. Ihave had their credit card for years, always paying off in full but the service I have recieved regarding this is absolutely disgusting and therefore I have cancelled my account. The telephone operatives dont even seem to know what their own company policy is. Worst service ever. When I rang them this morning and asked to speak with a manager, no-one was available - surprise surprise. Feel sorry for the call centre staff. If I could give them a minus star review I would. AVOID THEM LIKE YOU WOULD COVID!

My car was written off by a drunk driver at 03:30 in the morning on Sunday. I rang my insurance the same day to put In the claim and I can’t complain about anything. So helpful. Made the process so easy and stress free knowing I was very upset. And also moved very fast with recovering my car, sorting me a rental and giving me a quote. Will recommend.

Worst Travel Insurance Cover ever - DO NOT BUY. Paid for the top level Premium Plus travel insurance cover, and added extra pandemic insurance. Holiday accomodation cancelled by owners due to Covid-19 reasons thereby making our booked flights useless. This is termed a 'consequential loss' according to our legal advisers. Airline not liable for refund as outward flight went ahead to Spain as normal in late July 2020 albeit with us not onboard. Post Office claim being handled by an insurance company for them called INTANA, who have been dreadful so far. Repeatedly quoting EU261 regulation to us and saying airline should refund us not them, both us and our legal adviser can see this is clearly not the case when you read this regulation and indeed the airline have refused to refund already. Formal complaint submitted to INTANA and was not handled by them as a complaint! Response was to quote EU261 back to us again and to add a new exclusion reason of "We Do Not Cover;

o) prohibitive regulations by the government of any country, or delay or amendment of the booked Trip due to government action;"

Neither us or our legal adviser can see how this exclusion applies to our case as the flight went ahead without any such change or regulation. The Post office insurers in the form of INTANA appear to be trying every means to try to avoid settling our legitimate claim. Have asked again for our claim to be treated as a complaint and reviewed by a senior manager, awaiting response. If unsatisfactory again intend taking this matter to the insurance Ombudsmen, MP and TV media, as so unhappy with their reponses and poor customer service. Others consumers need to know they are wasting their money buying Travel Insurance from the Post Office as it isn't worth the paper it is written on.

I received letter dated 17/07/2020 from Post Office Money stating they would deduct further £13.74 on my recently agreed car insurance policy unless I had LV Insurance send in writing that CUE information they had declared in 2017 was wrong. After three calls to LV insurance they provided a letter stating the claim in 2017 was a no fault claim which I forwarded by email as instructed on 30/07/2029 to Cueproof@insure-systems.co.uk. I then received further letter from Post Office Money dated 6/08/2020 stating that the premium of £13.74 would still be deducted or I could cancel policy for a charge £55.00. I therefore telephoned and was informed that the charge was due to my non declaration at time of application. So in fact I had completely wasted my time fulfilling their instructions. My previous insurer Ageas made no issue about the matter. I feel Post Office Money have ripped me off and wasted my time. I will certainly never deal with them again. I have the impression that they are a dodgy Insurance outfit trading under a prestigious company’s name.

I purchased the insurance and the very next day realised I had missed something off. I tried to amend this online but got a message saying you can't make any amendments online. Were in 2020 and you can't do things online??? So I call them to ammend and first they say they will charge a £10 ammendment fee and then they quote me a ridiculous amount for what I want to change. So I then choose to cancel and I have to pay £20 fee? Within a day? Disgusting service never use them for anything again.

Well, these cards are now provided by Bank of Ireland (another useless credit card company). I fully paid off my card, and then cancelled it. However, the operative I spoke with to cancel the card, didn't, and A YEAR LATER an automatic payment which I forgot about (now I take the blame for that) was taken off the card. I had moved house 3 times by this point (4 years later) so none of the letters came through to me. PO and BoI did nothing to help me, just wrote back saying they were every so sorry, and hope that I'm not upset by how it has worked out. BUT THEN they instantly sold this debt to another debt collection agency. Agressive greedy buggers, stay away from post office cc and from bank of ireland

Terrible customer service. They make it very hard to contact them (especially during the Covid-19 pandemic). I had to cancel my holiday as I have an autoimmune disease and am at higher risk. When I finally managed to get through to a human being, they refused to refund me. I would not recommend the Post Office as a travel insurance provider. They quite obviously value profit ahead of customer service.

Appalling amateurish service from the post office Have a complaint in process but to be honest no idea if this is being processed as the post office does not have an email address and do not send out emails to confirm any actions other than the automated incorrect emails.
clearly their must be more efficient investment companies that look after their customers correctly

Been a loyal customer for over a decade. Paid every month in full by DD. Booked and paid for return flights UK/Bangkok with card. Flew out on 11th Feb. Fell seriously ill on 17th. Advised to change flight date and return to UK ASAP. Contacted UK agent who demanded an admin fee of £1145 to change the date. Either pay up or stay in Thailand and face the consequences. ‘Blackmail’ at its cleverest, eh?
Paid by PO CC and flew home next day. Next full week under strict GP medication and rest.
Contacted Post Office CC Customer service. Told to send overview letter and docs to prove Flight change date etc. Did so and asked for the payment to be challenged and refunded.
From that moment everything went downhill.
Back and forth emails and telephone calls to no avail. Result...Post Office refuse my legitimate claim and threaten to impose more interest and late payment fees.
Deal with the Bank of Ireland at your peril. Decency and what is right is not part of their system. By the way, I am 86 years of age and never, ever, owed a penny to anyone in my life.

I had a letter saying that my home insurance policy was due to be automatically renewed but my payment details were out of date. I phoned the centre and they said that they can't do anything as they haven't got the details there themselves yet (but yet, I had a letter?).
With this in mind I took out a new policy. Days later, I saw that they had taken the money for the old policy as well! Long wait on the phone to sort their mistake out.
Also, like with all insurance companies, they will sting you on the renewal price if you don't shop around.

The phone manner of the customer service advisor is great though. The man was clear, happy to explain anything etc. so that's a plus.

I have had car insurance through the Post Office for a few years. However, this year when my insurance was due for renewal, I received a letter to say their panel of insurers were unable to offer me insurance. Nothing has changed since last year and I've not made any claims for years. They were unable to offer any explanation when I phoned. However, silver lining, I have got insurance with another reputable company at £100+ less!

Didn’t have any claims then got a renewal letter...gone up 35% for nothing. Log in to the online “self service” (ha!) system and you can’t cancel the renewal. Tried via the online chat. The online chat agent can’t cancel the renewal. I have to phone a separate renewal agent (First Source)...and then spend forever on hold. I would just cancel the direct debit, but they have a separate credit agency who have just told me they will start charging if I don’t sign the paperwork as the renewal is valid...but I can’t get through on the phone because of Covid-19.... Why have a self service website if you can’t do anything? Bunch of jokers. Will never use post office for anything. Shoddy.
