Insurance as good as its ease of claiming.

Insurance is really only as good as its ease of claiming. This was really easy, great communication and saved us a lot of money when our pet was sadly injured.

Usless Insurance and I will be changing it. Our cat had dental extractions and they refused because she had some issues before the insurance was... Usless Insurance and I will be changing it. Our cat had dental extractions and they refused because she had some issues before the insurance was taken out.. the issues were mentioned back in October 2025 and admittedly we did take Sainsbury's insurance in November 2025.. but not because of that,but simply the better price at the time and attractive offer promising a good cover.. we didn't make a claim until October 2026 due to subsequent check that was just a dental clean that then required dental extraction . Which was covered by insurance .or so we thought... so clearly we didn't set out to change insurance to be able to claim ,but life happened and a year later or so the need to do was there.. that's why people take insurance !! Absolute disgrace ,would not recommend..very disappointed.. Read more Read less

Insurance is really only as good as its ease of claiming. This was really easy, great communication and saved us a lot of money when our pet was sadly injured.

    Have had to make a number of claims on a lifetime policy and I have always had very prompt and courteous service.

    Easy process for claiming. Saved us a fortune!

    We got pet insurance last year, for the first time, for our senior cats and one had a big accident which ripped his leg and... We got pet insurance last year, for the first time, for our senior cats and one had a big accident which ripped his leg and he hid for a couple of days before we could get him to the vet. So it was a big job to get him fixed up - Sainsburys were great - easy to make the claim, paid direct to the vets and easy to switch over the claim when our cat moved care from the vet hospital back to our regular vet. Such a relief at a very stressful time. Cat is now fine, and we had to spend a lot less than if we'd not been insured! Read more Read less
