I have invested with many building societies over the years, and have been very impressed with the way The Family Building Society has dealt with my initial application. I particularly like the posted savings certificate and letter, together with Dedicated Contact Details etc. I know we should be heading for a paperless world, but I do like to keep some hard copies on file. Long wait but good end result

The wait to be put through to an assistant was far too long. Unfortunately this is the way many businesses are going these days, but this does not make the situation acceptable. Once I got through to an assistant, the lady was very knowledgeable and helpful and was also well spoken. She resolved my query satisfactorily. Reviewed on: 3rd June 2025

Ellissa Agouti deserves a medal. She was helping me sign into my account which took over an hour and she was the most patient person I have ever encountered. She was unfazed, uncritical of any mistakes I made. Informed. No problem was too great she didn't complain or get exasperated but continued through to the end. She desderves the hightest praise.
