Terrible company

Got a quote online for £555 phoned up to ask for someone to go through the quote due to poor reviews on here, they came back with £1200 rising to £1600 with interest, I told them about the £555 quote they had given online and gave the reference number they said they can do that price but it was not available to pay anually, only available for a monthly payment with a 21% interest charge of £200!!! How can you offer a service for a price but demand to give credit at a rate of 21% that isn't wanted or needed ??? Asked to speak to customer service, told if you don't like it go somewhere else !! Emailed me someone else personal details

I asked Van Line Direct for a copy of my no claims bonus. When they sent it through. i wasn't mine it was for someone else, their name, address, vehicle details, no claims details, direct debit details etc. When i complained to Van Line Direct, the assistant told me i was wrong. Even though i had sent the email back as evidence. She still insisted it was me that was incorrect. I assured her that i know my own name, address and vehicle details. Only after much pushing on my behalf she accepted to take it as a complaint. I then received an email offering me £50 to basically drop it ( good will gesture and to end my complaint)( keep it quiet) A "manager" called me. accepted they had breached data protection, but didn't care. If you value your personal details i would avoid this company. Van Line direct and Car Line direct. from Guildford. I informed the person who's detail were sent to me. I wonder who my details has been shared with. WHO WILL THEY SHARE YOUR DETAILS WITH ???????????? Reviewed on: 28th June 2017
