Newly discovered mobile banking apps and Nationwide's does the job. Easy to authenticate and use on a day-to-day basis to check finance, make transfers and pay contacts. Reviewed on: 25th August 2015

Nice to speak to a person who understand

Having ignored my Nationwide Debit & Credit Card Accounts for a few years I needed to call up and either cancel or reactivate them. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself talking to a UK based call centre who understood everything I wanted to do, made it happen simply and effectively without trying to sell me other products that I didn't want at the same time. Great customer service

Opening an account with nationwide is so easy you can even do it online these days.When I incurred charges a couple of money's ago the friendly customer service cleared them for me due to the fact I was been charged for such a small amount overdrawn however if you do go overdrawn there is no way normally to avoid charges unlike Lloyds tsb who give you till 3pm on the day of going over to top up you account and not get charged. Excellent customer service

I've been a customer of nationwide for about 15 years with a basic account then upgraded to this flex account. I've had no problems, can access my money in plenty of ways, use mobile and Internet banking then there's a brilliant app which I have on my phone and tablet. Staff in the branch are helpful and friendly and go out of their way to help. Highly recommended Reviewed on: 9th August 2015

I NEEDED TO CHANGE DETAILS AND SET UP PAYMENTS ON THE ACCOUNT WAS HAVING TROUBLE ONLINE DUE TO MY INTERNET SIGNAL PHONED THEM UP TO SORT IT OVER THE PHONE AND IT WAS DONE VERY SIMPLY AND SWIFTLY MAKING SURE THEY FIRST SPOKE TO THE PERSON IN CHARGE OF THE ACCOUNT SO THAT IT WAS NOT A FRAUD ACT BY SOMEONE ELSE WHICH IS REASSURING. i had to get this account becasue it was the only way my emolyer would pay me. i was unsure about the set up but after some in depth explaining it was all very clear to me about how to use internet banking and etc. i was given the choice of cards depending on what i wanted to due which i found very helpful overall. i would reconmend this product to anyone who is considering getting an account. with this card i recieved a card which gave me and a friend 25% off all vue cinemas for a year (which is a bonus). this card also has contactless payment system for upto 20 pounds. now go forth and experience a great debit card Reviewed on: 29th April 2015
