Switching to Nationwide was the best decision ever I switched to Nationwide a few years ago after poor service from a bank I had been with for over 40 years. It was the best decision I have ever made. Reviewed on: 21st July 2025

Nationwide great customer service

I really love the customer service of nationwide. Whenever you need to contact them about an issue, you can always get through to them very quickly. I recently had an issue with my debit card and nationwide were fantastic in getting this sorted out and the issue was resolved within a couple of days so I was very pleased about it. Basic Account

A good but basic account, you can have a contactless debit card but otherwise no overdraft and feels like its almost impossible to upgrade the account. However the customer service offered on the phone is really good, as they are polite and 9 times out of 10 can provide an answer to your question Reviewed on: 18th December 2016

Never had a problem

Really love Nationwide. They've always been prompt if there's been a problem, very professional and informative, the range of products they offer is great. Even if somewhere else offered a better rate for savings etc I would not leave Nationwide as the level of professionalism is paramount for me. Reviewed on: 18th December 2016

Great Bank, Great Account

I have found nothing is too much trouble for the Nationwide. Whenever I've needed help with day to day banking, whether it's transferring money to another account, setting up direct debits, paying bills etc they have always been extremely helpful, pleasant and a joy to deal with. No frills

I have been with them many years and have had few problems , they are a building society and not a bank , but act like a bank when its suits them. Getting things done like a direct debit or a new card can be a problem every time its not as easy as they make out. you have to have time to wait in the que to see the manager or some one in charge.
