Good value account with extras

My husband and I are very pleased with the Co-Operative Bank's Everyday Extra account. It does require a monthly deposit, but for £15 a month we get travel insurance, RAC roadside assistance and mobile phone insurance as well as small amounts of cashback. Very good value for money. Great personal service

Although I do use the Nationwide banking app, I love that I can do my banking at my local branch where I can talk to real people face to face, The staff are so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, and it's so nice to see how they go the extra mile for their elderly or less able customers. Friendly, reliable service

I've banked with Nationwide for many years, and I really appreciate that our local branch is still open when so many high street banks have closed. It's so important to be able to deal with real people face to face, and the staff at our Nationwide in Exmouth are always so helpful. The new Fairer Shares initiative is a nice bonus too!
