Good free account with savings attached.

Easy to set up, although had to make an appointment to organise my switch to them from another firm. I primarily use them as they have a branch near my work, so it's convenient to pay in money, primarily through the automated machines. Staff have always been helpful in branch when needed. Low overdraft charges

I've been with HSBC for a long time and that's mainly because it's always been so easy. Good online banking and the fact that they don't have a set charge for dipping into your overdraft ( just a daily interest which works out far cheaper) means I'd be reluctant to change.
