Real human service, sensible pricing

Just really human service, (rare these days) prices that made sense, always available with handy advice and seem to want to take care of customers. Only downside is no commercial vehicle insurance, otherwise I’d probably have two policies instead of one. Reviewed on: 29th September 2025

What’s not to like, seriously?

From the start it was clear that Saga wanted to treat me as human being rather than just another number. It was the same at renewal time, and the price was the keenest despite using online comparison tools. More companies would do well to adopt the Saga attitude with their customers. Having used more than a dozen different providers for vehicle insurance across thirty years nobody has even come close to Saga. You are treated as a human being. FirstDirect still doing the business in a personal way

First direct keep me informed without bombarding me relentlessly with emails and texts. They inform of product offerings, statements and interest rate changes in periodic and timely fashion. On the few occasions I need to call them on the phone their staff truly demonstrate why they have won so many customer service awards since 1989 Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

No automatic renewal at rates above inflation. Easy to use online portal for documentation review, excellent service by phone and emails only when you need them (further to a query/claim or just ahead of renewal). Reviewed on: 10th October 2024
