They are cheap for a reason - they don’t pay out and won’t help. poor service and not understanding at all. Tried to claim due to Heathrow fire, I had purchased excursions, that I could get to, as my flight was cancelled. Despite clearly saying covered pre-paid costs were covered in my insurance when trying to claim, it wasn’t covered, there are only 3 specific reasons when cancellation cover is valid. An airport closing is not one of them - but it is not in their exclusions, so should be covered. Had a very rude service representative on my first call, he out the phone down on me, such poor customer service!!! Will not be using again, and advise people not to make the same mistake as me.
