Don’t ask for quote if had previous claims

Had a quote for static caravan insurance. Wasn’t able to put down claims had on existing insurance police with another company. rang and spoke to a lady who said their system is new, she couldn’t put it on the system either. She wrote claim info down and said would update my quote ASAP. Didn’t hear so emailed and asked, to be told the underwriters won’t insure our caravan as had two claims one was just over 2.5k. So won’t insure. The caravan is in very good condition. One was for a leak which resulted in new shower room, other was boiler due to power outage. Reviewed on: 19th June 2025
