I joined through my workplace and it was simple and easy to save straight from my monthly salary. I wanted to save with a Credit Union to help others in the community who don't have easy access to the banking services that I have. My work directly affected people on benefits and I had seen far too many people falling victim to loan sharks and pay day lenders.
