NEVER EVER GO NEAR TSB FOR ANY BANKING

NEVER EVER GO NEAR TSB FOR ANY BANKING… NEVER EVER GO NEAR TSB FOR ANY BANKING PRODUCTS, BUT ESPECIALLY NOT BUSINESS BANKING, THE ABSOLUTE WORST THERE IS. We've banked with TSB for 12 years since we opened out company, and had various errors and system outages over the years I was prepared to look past, however 2 weeks a ago I receveid a letter stating they were closing down our account as it was 'set up as the wrong entity.' We are a Ltd company, as is our business banking account, so this was completely in error. Called up to query it, waited 20 minutes on the phone for someone to say they don't know what's going on, sorry someone will me back today or tomorrow. 6 days later, no phone call back so chased it to double check it was all resolved, and have been told 'oh sorry yes that was en error, but we are still going close the account???' I've queried why on earth they would do that, and after another 20 minutes wasted, they said they are just going to close the account without any reason and reserve the right to do that without explanation??? We are a small family business that has grown over the years, has regular turnover over £500k, always surplus funds in the bank, involved in the highest level regulated financial services, tax liablilites up to date, never been overdrawn.. absolutely no reason at all to close the account. As much as I'm glad to see the back of this disgracceful bank, I would have liked to have left on my own terms. Instead, we are now going to need to set up a new account and change our payment detials with dozens and dozens of providers and clients against the deadline of this morons closing our business account. 1 star is too many for this disgrace of a bank.
