ACCEPT YOU THEN SAY NO

Got accepted up to £7700. Told to pick a car, drive 3 hours round trip to test drive a car and paid a £290 deposit. Confirmed I wanted that car. Signed the documents & contract for repayments. Received a text to say the lenders now declined you? Even though I signed the contract and was ACCEPTED. A legally binding contracting agreement just terminated within 24 hours? don’t know If I can even get my deposit back and embarrassed & devestated I wasted so much time & money and got excited and told friends and family I was getting my dream car.
