Auto Renewal Trap will cost you.

I turned off Auto Renew about 3 weeks before my insurance was due to end, then later, I found they had renewed it anyway! When I spoke to them I had to send them new cover docs etc but they stated I turned off auto renew after insurance had started and I had to pay them £40 cancellation fee (totally untrue). I was told the £40 was for the 11 hour time difference between my old and new policy for Third Party Only insurance I didn't need as my bikes were off the road during that time!! How convenient to them that they state I didn't turn off auto renewal (which I flipping well did in plenty of time!). Not happy and I won't be using them again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2026
