Good reimbursements....appalling customer service

I have been. Very happy with the amounts they have eventually paid out. Unfortunately their customer service team is appalling. If you ring with a query, they can't access your claims, or the latest information relating to them. Poorly trained staff don't have the answers to your queries and , if pushed for an answer, will lie, rather than admitting they don't know. If you ask to speak to a supervisor, your request is always denied. If you miss their name at the beginning of the call, they refuse to repeat it and won't commit to getting back to you. You are constantly referred to an email address to escalate queries, but your emails are unlikely to get a reply. My actual policy is with Tower ( powered by Allianz). If, in desperation you contact Tower, they refuse to assist. As previously stated, eventual payout amounts are good, but getting to that stage is a nightmare and I dread having to contact them.
