Did a balance transfer for six months paid the right...

Did a balance transfer for six months paid the right amount each month last month and this month so i did not get any interest on my card but been charged interest for the last two months i rang them up told me because i have not paid the balance transfer off i will get intrest on my account how do you work this out i have six months to pay it off getting rid of this card has soon has i can rigght rip off merchants.
