My wife and I were going on a river cruise with Saga and whilst I took Sagas included insurance (excellent) my wife used All Clear which she has over many years. Just before our holiday I was taken to A&E and found to have heart failure. We cancelled the trip and Saga paid my claim on receipt of medical proof. After a month of sending various requested documents to Gallagher Bassett (who are supposed to deal with claims on behalf of All Clear) we are still awaiting settlement. My heart condition is not being improved by this delay and worry. As others have said, their sales team are superb but it all goes downhill should you claim. Even with a complaint you are told that it will be passed to Gallagher Bassett who no doubt will look at it ‘next week’ and decide what further documents they require Reviewed on: 18th June 2026

Superb claims service.

Booked a river cruise with Saga and took their included travel insurance. About two weeks before we were due to go I was taken to A&E and found to have heart failure. We had to cancel our trip and once I had a letter from my doctor confirming I was unable to travel Saga paid the claim. No fuss, no quibble. Wonderful company Reviewed on: 18th June 2026
