Crazy Underwriting Criteria

I opted for the well rated Post Office policy but forgot to advise them I'm on blood pressure tablets. The price was £130 for an annual policy. I'm on low dose tablets that were merely accepted by Aviva without charge but the Post Office just asked "how many tablets are you on" Nothing to do with what they were, the dosage etc Then said the quite had doubled. !! Crazy way to underwrite insurance cover. Thank God I could cancel still. Reviewed on: 22nd July 2026
