Cancels Your Annual Car Insurance And Keeps The Money

Cheeky anyway to request additional documents AFTER you've already paid for annual car insurance (never happened with other car insurance companies), but the cherry on top is that no emails or phone calls were received to say that they were about to cancel our insurance unless we send those documents through. Funnily enough, after they spoke on the phone to the main driver the other day, an email came through from them, but 'somehow' the two from back in April didn't. After we had called ourselves, they processed a partial refund and had we not called, they simply wouldn't have refunded our money. Processing only a partial refund can only be described as theft, since the cancellation happened as a result of their disorganised admin and after such a horrendous service, I would expect all the money back. As far as I'm concerned, we also didn't get the benefit of the service we actually paid for, which was annual car insurance, not pay for the year and you're only covered for a fraction of the time. Not to mention how ridiculous it is to charge us a 'cancellation fee' for them cancelling the policy, not us. Finally, the response to my Google review was nothing short of insulting, as they said they "couldn't find my policy" - I had requested a deadlock letter to escalate this to the ombudsman where I stated the policy number, and they have the nerve to make my review on Google look like a scam.
