Review of the Admiral, Pet Insurance:

Terrible service and long delays

Our experience with Admiral's Pet Insurance product was extremely poor. Our dog saw an emergency and regular vet for what ended up being a random bout of gastroentiritis on July 7. Expensive tests were recommended to ensure there wasnt anything else nasty going on. First, Admiral's requested and refused to move the claim forward without full medical histories from every single vet the dog has ever attended (even in other countries and more than 5 years prior). We were given conflicting and incorrect information from helpline staff. We have only just been fully paid on September 24. The full claim was paid as the claim was always in policy (the dog has never had or claimed for this condition or any related to it), making this delay particularly frustrating and unneccessary.
