Avoid Direct Line at all costs.

Avoid Direct Line at all costs. Had a car crash and agreed to use their 'approved repairer', did an absolutely horrific job, they had the car back a second time to rectify their works and actually did nothing other than send it back to me and swear down the phone. Raised a complaint with Direct Line and had an 'external engineer' come to look at the car to agree on what works were acceptable. Turns out both the 'approved repairer' and 'external engineer' are both part of the Direct Line Group. An absolute con and I am now left with a vehicle, that I'd only purchased 3 weeks prior to the crash, that is not to an acceptable standard. Reviewed on: 25th September 2026
