I’ve been paying for phone insurance with Lovewitt Coverit for nearly two years, so I expected that when I finally needed to make a claim, the process would be straightforward. I dropped and broke my phone yesterday and, although my claim was accepted, I’m extremely disappointed with what has happened since. I was led to believe that my phone would be replaced, rather than repaired, yet I’m now being asked to send my only phone away for repair, leaving me with no phone and no spare. The whole process has been unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. I’ve paid for this insurance for nearly two years, but when I actually need to use it, I’m faced with a process that feels more difficult than it needs to be. Accepting the claim is one thing, but actually providing the service you’ve paid for should be straightforward. At the moment, this experience has been so frustrating that I can completely understand why people might be put off making a claim. Very disappointing. It feels like I have been scammed!
