Suddenly paying 30p per litre more than the pump price

We're yet another company that has been stung by the "Risk Based Pricing" so are being charged an extra 30p per litre of fuel. Thankfully we spotted it after just a few weeks so are out of pocket by £75 so not as much as some! Their Sales team assured me over and over that the most we'd ever pay would be the pump price. I'd never have signed up if I knew there was a risk of us being moved to another tariff. And why?? Apparently there's been a change in our credit rating! I've read that could be triggered by a large purchase - yes, the company bought a new van! So despite their Head of Customer Experience stating how they “understand that transparency and clear communication are essential” (copied from a reply to a review on another review site), they certainly don't practise what they preach! I've also noticed that they don't put their charges on their website - you have to fill in a form and ask for a copy of the latest fees! That's hardly transparent! Anyway I shall be reporting them to Trading Standards as I believe the circumstances surrounding these pricing changes and the assurances given during the sales process warrant further scrutiny.
