good flexible isa with decent rates.

good flexible isa with decent rates. Relatively easy to use platform, the only thing that concerns me is that the app doesn't always ask for verification to let you in. I know you have to sign onto your phone but if you handed it to someone else they can easily get into your app. Reviewed on: 30th March 2025

Strange but good

Great interest rates offered, just weird you don't get your own sort code and account number. You have your own account number they allocate the money to after you've sent it to them. Yet to take the money out but hope this is smooth enough too. Reviewed on: 22nd November 2019

Reply from Newbury Building Society Hi Kayleigh, thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. Whilst most standard UK bank accounts have an 8 digit account number and 6 digit sort code, we are a Building Society and we have what's referred to as a 'building society roll number' or just a 'roll number' - a reference code with letters and numbers. When you are making a payment to a Building Society account, then the Building Society provides you with the roll number. When making a payment online, you should add the roll number as the reference of the payment you are sending. Any questions though please do contact us online or in branch. Many thanks again.
