26 years and still happy.

I've been banking with First Direct for around 26 years. Over that time I have never been tempted by the cash offers for switching banks. That's purely because of the incredible service I receive from First Direct. Every contact results in a positive experience. Any issues are dealt with quickly and responsibly. Beware of the administrators used by this company.

My pension investment with Nutmeg performed well, but the administration was dire. Unfortunately this part of the operation is outsourced to another company. They are slow, confusing and incompetent. Obviously, I only discovered this when trying to release funds from my pension. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2026

I use Coast for Park Home insurance. They're always very efficient and helpful. They provide flood cover without having to use Flood-re, which is a bonus. Reviewed on: 5th September 2025
