My first direct mortgage allowed me to overpay then pay off my loan more quickly than i would have done otherwise. Staff in call centre are most helpful and proactively ensure you are receiving the right service. Couldn't fault them! Reviewed on: 12th February 2016

The wrapping-up process in completing a mortgage with first direct was made super simple as they took me step by step through my responsibilities with instruction on when to engage a solicitor and what to expect from the solicitor.
