Given a second chance!

I applied for a loan for a car, was originally declined. I was told to apply for a smaller amount, and explained my reasons, that I supported adults with learning difficulties/autism, who relied on me taking them to appointments/social activities. I had a meeting with some Boom staff, who decided to give me the loan. Reviewed on: 8th May 2024

I was finally, accepted to receive a credit card, with an excellent interest rate, has helped me with a vet bill, with careful budgeting, have now paid off. Reviewed on: 13th January 2023

My mind at rest.

admitting I was in debt, made me feel a failure. After contacting Step Change, I spoke to a calm kind gentleman. He didn't judge me. He sounded like he really cared and wanted to help me. I have finally managed to budget. I still have 3 years until I am debt free, however I am grateful to Step Change, helping me through a very stressful situation. I can carry on with my life, knowing I am eventually be better off financially, when I have cleared all my debts. Reviewed on: 11th July 2020
