My daughter had an accident last Saturday and initially they handeled the claim really well. But we were not prepared for what was to come....... First phone call to my daughter because you are under 21 we have to double your excess from £250 to £500
Then she had a message from them asking her to ring them because a couple of days before the accident she had been let go form her job they were saying that she had to pay another £895 on top of her premium!! She has about 4 months left to run.
She has since had 3 more messages and 3 emails about the same thing. She is upset enough about damaging her car without these insensitive insurance company. And they have said if she does not pay it within 7 days she will not get her car back, how is that legal. Avoid like the plague
