Positive experience

Unfortunately I had need to use my car insurance when my car was knocked by another and damaged the wind mirror. My exchanges with Axa were pleasant and helpful , they have kept ,me informed throughout the process and were quick to deal with my claim. Review of the The Co-operative Bank, Current Account:

Couldn't have had 2 more different experiences

I had a letter querying my address despite no longer having an account with the co-op. I rang them to find that when I had opened my current account the bank had also opened a savings account that wasn't closed when I transferred banks. I asked to close the account and gave my security answers but was told it was a no go and needed to go to branch to close the account. A hassle as there is no branches in easy reach. Frustrated I ended the call and left it. On the off chance I rang again a few days and couldn't have got a more helpful member of staff, giving her the same security answers she had closed my account in less than minutes. I can't believe that a customer based service could provide such different service. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015
