Joined a credit union by chance- never regretted it!

I joined the credit union kind of by accident- a fellow worker told me about it and as a young daft girl, I recognised the value of direct deductions from my salary. Over the years it built a savings habit that has stood me in good stead. I also aligned to the ethos of the credit union which has never wavered. Reviewed on: 24th March 2026

Some habits are good for you- saving!

I joined way back in the 1990s- it gave me a savings option as a direct deduction from my salary. Best thing I ever did! I moved on from that job but never lost the savings habit. I also love the good the organisation does for the community. We are all in it together Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026
