I have an existing savings account with Incesrec Bank, they're closing this account service down. So I identified TSB bond fixed 1 year was my best option to move funds. I have 5 UK bank accounts, lived at my address for over 20 years. TSB declined the opening before I present ID. Go into a branch they say.
So my nearest branch 12 miles away has been SHUT down. Or I can send copies, verified by a solicitor or accountant (which will cost me minimum £50)
Go away TSB! The rate might be great but the process is shocking! Investec, Santander, Lloyds, Nationwide I can do all on line & upload my ID.
Drag yourselves into the 21st century. Rant over!!
