Problems with access to child is a transferred to direct isa.

Even though the child isa has good rates I wouldn’t rely on gaining quick access to the funds once child turns 18 and they are transferred to direct isa. Been a shambles, everything has to done by post which can take six weeks to be processed. The form you fill out does not include asking national insurance number , which they need and don’t tell you about. We were told this after waiting 2 months for the password my child needs to gain online access to his account. Only told when we phoned, and asked to write again with NI number.
