Useless NS&I

I made the massive mistake of saving money for my daughter in their junior isa. I transferred money in and it went missing for 3 months!! When my daughter turned 18 she tried to take the money out and after telling her the money would arrive next day, told her when she rang three days later (after holding for over an hour) that they hadn't paid her because they couldn't verify her account and she was "very young". They have closed down her account and will now send a cheque in the post. I cannot emphasize how poor this organsation is, the worst I have ever come across. Don't get me started about the Ombudsman..... Reviewed on: 25th January 2023
