Good value supplementary account

an excellent convenient supplementary account with good rewards and fee free use abroad but still limited on funcitonality e.g. no foreign transfers. Reviewed on: 15th February 2024

competitive and convenient

The standard savings account has a competitive rate of interest and is swift to respond to increases in interest rates. It's easy to move money in and out and when linked to an excellent value current account together with a high interest round-up savings account the overall package is compelling provided you're willing to work with an app-only account. good value but limited features

The app based current account is easy to use and gives good value with cashback on pretty much all spending and fee/commission-free use abroad including cash withdrawals. It's a great account for everyday spending though the app has become a little less intuitive, recently particularly when transferring money between accounts and it's sometimes a little slow to respond on older phones. You can also run direct debits and transfer to other people in the UK, but it's not suitable as a sole account as you can't make transfers to foreign bank accounts. Reviewed on: 5th April 2023
